Nejiro control to all convoy dispatchers please contact your convoys. We have just received a destress message but no convoy ID.

is there anyway we can use multiple radio towers to try and triangular in on the signal and get a rough heading like they do with cell phones ?

i have my people follow this in case carefully in case we need to scramble for rescue or recovery operations

also i have all our trucks that are out in the field call in in case it is one of ours

If we had more of a transmission maybe
This is radio not cell Communication

Who else runs convoys on this planet?
Can we request information from Comstar on the specific types of machines that Caesar has employed in raids on other worlds?

Most all ground and water transport is done by convoy. This is done for many reasons the most important are safety and security.

They will only be able to give what the reports have.  These will be happening down the road.

Do we have a location for this convoy?  If so, are we being dispatched?

Grandmother's people in Hilo will attempt to get a rough bearing on the ostensible distress signal and get the VTOL out along that bearing at high level.  Hopefully they'll be able to spot something without attracting Aero fighters.

Well, judging from the next message, this is taking place nowhere near Hilo, so cancel this post...

Kaido yuso to Nejiro control the convoy in destress may be one of ours. We have lost contact with a convoy moving from Samar to Majuro. The convoy was made up of a half dozen trucks and has not made it to Majuro. We know the convoy departed from Samar on time.

Nejiro control to all Mercenary commands you will need to prep units to move to the Shinrin continent. Transport in on its way to your bases. We only have space for two units per command so please have them ready as time on this mission is not with us.

Precentor Ian Wilkes to Chiji Meiyo Saganami I am sending a Level II to work with your Mercenary Forces. The Level II is under the command of Adept Raphael Sanchez. This unit has orders to work with you to help with local missions.

The cargo manifest for the convoy is standard civilian goods (food, clothing and electronics)
They are higher end goods

so there would be resale value for the goods most likely why the convoy is being harassed ok guys where are you all???? what is everyone bringing and remember these kind of trucks go away VERY VERY VERY easily so make sure you don't hit the convoy trucks with anything

We met at Gencon 2014 for sure, you and I were Lead on Leviathans there (before it.... well you know :( )

I was Lead on Alpha Strike:Tactical this year, were you in the minis hall?

Is it usually Sundays?

Every couple of months I am down in Jersey for a few days (Hoboken) so if I have an extra day I might try to make it out.
How difficult is it to get out there on train/subway from Hoboken or Manhattan?
Edit: Wow, looking at the map you guys are some distance out there...

Yes, in fact before a game you gave me a look of recognition and came over and said hello.

We always play on a Sunday.  It's when everyone is off work.  It's one Sunday a month.  You'll have to watch the thread to know which one.

Ya we a wee bit out.
You would have to take NJ transit to Penn Station. Then take L I R R out to Ronkonkoma. Then bum a ride with me. Fun trip  ::)

Yeah I was thinking "BT Long Island" might be Queens or Brooklyn or something.... :D
But the L I R R seems fairly easy

A couple times a year I end up in Jersey over the weekend, so if I do I'll try to roll out there.

Sorry we missed you OT.

Could we search the convoy for anything that may not be on the manifest that might have prompted the attack?

Yes. All you will find is some of the cargo as a lot of the cargo is missing. The containers stillon the trucks have been move to the rear like they to whereto be removed. What the cargo manifest states should be in them is what you will find in them.
