Enola Holmes: Light, fluffy, breezy YA about the supposed younger sister of Sherlock. Plot is about as deep as you'd expect, Sherlock (Henry Cavill) shows up only for the "Worf effect" of showing how smart the protagonist is, but Millie Bobby Brown (of Stranger Things fame) is just so gosh darned charming I ended up not caring. Not normally my cup of tea, but you know what, it kind of made a nice change from all the doomscrolling.
A Life on Our Planet (speaking of doomscrolling): David Attenborough still going strong at 93, chronicling the changes he's seen in the natural world in the last century, which means of course it's a chronicle of environmental devastation and OH MY GOD WE'VE MADE DAVID ATTENBOROUGH CRY. Way to go, us. I hope we're happy now. We've upset this beautiful, gentle-voiced man, whose boots we are not worthy to ... oh, it makes me mad. MAD.
