Ugh...

Why?

Rather have https://www.sarna.net/wiki/File:Jeep.png

And if that costs $300 to get made, then I can pitch in half that.

Is that not the Wheeled scout they released?

Said vehicle does not currently have stats in either MUL or MML. MUL references its source as MW1e and that's about the extent of it.

However, said source does give it 6 armor all around and dedicates 2 tons to an SRM 2 or 2 MGs plus ammo. 5 tons is about right. (For reference, with stuff and crew, a slick HMMWV is 3 tons, 4 tons for an "armored" armament carrier, and 5+ tons for a UAH.)

But the truck was IlTech as soon as the next catalog number was published (1608 CityTech, which introduced vehicle construction rules), so that might have something to do with it. Of note, the MW1 entry lacks an engine weight entry and that pushes the vehicle overweight by a quarter ton. <shrug>

This year we have six (6) new sculpts: Awesome, Warhammer, UrbanMech, Marauder, Jade Phoenix, and Mastodon.

Any chance we'll see another IWM release before next year?

It's looking like we will not, we learned that our new printers of masters was taking off the rest of 2022. Which we will factor in for next year, our old printer would take June and July off. The next release is done and ready to be printed in January and work on the second release is already in process. I will have the info for the next release up on the web site soon. I just need to confirm something with Mike.

Is there any word on the Variant for the Jade Phoenix?

Yes, I will have information about it soon to post.
From the supplied picture on IWM, I'd say the middle one is the large laser, and the one on the right is the gauss. Sometimes the barrel itself can give hints too.

You are correct, I thought I marked it on the image. I will get it updated.

Because I haven't asked this year . . .

Any word on the T-Bolt and other late Variants, Speck?     Seems like a Commando variant is the other one long overdue?   :undecided:
IIRC there was also a Griffin variant that was being worked on at one point.
There has been no progress on them, they are still on the to do list.

We don't know yet.

Speck, are the Stormcrow B/TC sprues going to be up separately as well? Thanks!
I will add it to my list, I am still working on scrapyard pictures and adding some new stuff.

I'd put money into the Spad as well. Would also like to see the Amaris Battleship if possible.
At this point I would wait for new art on aerospace fighters. My luck the Spad is done and then not long later there is new art. As for the Amaris, the art is an issue, would need a high resolution due to the style of the ship.

Query : are the IWM Marauder dorsal guns the same as the optional MAD guns in Mercs KS Legendary II and III ?
I would say the odd are good that they are, since Anthony suggested more than what I originally ask for.

Except Warhammer, Marauder, Rifleman, Archer, Timber Wolf, Dire Wolf, Warhawk, and Phoenix Hawk are more likely to sell than the Inferno, Rawhide, Eris, Hermit Crab, etc.

There will be many mechs from the first KS that will be in coming releases from IWM. We are hoping to have Rec Guide mechs for ilClan era in releases as well, they usually take longer to have done. The KS models are complete except for parting and any variants that IWM will be doing.

Inferno is in process
Eris I am not sure a metal one will be done with the version that CGL has for sale still.
Hermit Crab is in process
Rawhide not on the list right now, but that could change in the future
There are a few other Rec Guide mechs that are high on the list and working with CGL on.

That's incredibly disappointing. Does this also apply to more recent fighters, such as those found in 3085 or the 3145s?

As in 'expect plastic/resin versions first' or means IWM is working on them with CGL? I would really like to see RecGuide/mini-less units prioritized by IWM over metal versions of CGL plastics.

I would say 3145/3150 is fine, I am not sure about 3085 since it is an older TRO. Would require inquiring with CGL. I just hate the idea of spending the resources to produce a model off art and down the road it is redone.

IWM works with CGL since many of the ilClan designs have 3D assets at a certain level. It makes no sense to waste time and money to recreate something.

Thanks for the clarification, that's what I was hoping. That sounds like an excellent justification for doing new mechs over ones that already exist in CGL plastics!

Any word on the Ursa?  I think it might be the last mech from TRO 3145 that hasn't gotten a mini.
