I'm looking forward to the trio of Hanseatic Crusade-related PDFs. Might it be an idea to one day consolidate all of the Hanseatic Crusade-related documents into a single print-on-demand volume? Although, so far as the writeup on the Schmidt's Petraries file goes, it should be noted that the opposing realm in question was only called the Scorpion Empire after the conquest.
Speaking of which, could the forthcoming
BattleTech Universe book update the state of events in the Scorpion Empire through to 3150, or would that portion of the book only go so far as the endpoint of
Operational Turning Points: Hanseatic Crusade?
Also, would
BattleTech Universe look at any "corporate" factions of note? For example, I would very much like to see an update to 3150 for Interstellar Expeditions, along with a "further reading" note advising new readers to go check out
ISP3.
While I'm not entirely keen on the name chosen for
Empire Alone - it's a bit too close to "
Empires Aflame" for my liking - I am curious to see what it is set to cover. Might there be room on its campaign map to update the state of play on the Tamarind/Marian/Canopian front, or would that side of things have to wait for a future volume? And if it
did update that area also, might it be a good place to offer
BattleForce/
Alpha Strike-style force organization charts for the MHAF Cohorts and Legions involved?
And one other thing for now: is the
BattleTech Universe cover art meant to represent a single battle in particular, or is a mash-up of units and factions from across different time periods?
