And I plan to keep the Coming Releases page a little fresher as we roll on. It languished for far too long.

For example, I just added the cover to Shrapnel 6 to that page. Here's a bigger version for your enjoyment, as a thanks for all the excitement today!

Fantastic news, but I don't know if my old heart can take it!

There is literally not one bad thing to say about Shrapnel as a product. Love every issue and can't wait for the next one!

Thanks for the update Cubby, best news I've had all week

Definitely buying Shrapnel 6 and TTS:Granada in two weeks, looking forward to finding out who the Umayyads actually were. Not Clan Wolverine/Minnesota Tribe, I suspect, too obvious. Any notable alternatives come to anyone's mind?

Empire Alone, BattleTech Universe, the first new Brush Wars volume... early 2022 is shaping up to be a good year
All Clan totems are equal but some are more equal than others.

"The Succession Wars solved no problem. Their effects, both immediate and indirect, were either negative or disastrous. Morally subversive, economically destructive, socially degrading, confused in their causes, devious in their course, futile in their results, they are the outstanding example in Spheroid history of meaningless conflict."
The Third Star League's view of the Succession Wars, plagiarised from an ancient Terran historian's judgement of the Thirty Years War.

Silver Hawks?!? Who cares about those jerks?

Mon-starr and Yes Man?
"We have made of New Avalon a towering funeral pyre and wiped the Davion scourge from the universe.  Tikonov, Chesterton and Andurien are ours once more, and the cheers of the Capellan people nearly drown out the gnashing of our foes' teeth as they throw down their weapons in despair.  Now I am made First Lord of the Star League, and all shall bow down to me and pay homa...oooooo! Shiny thing!" - Maximillian Liao, "My Triumph", audio dictation, 3030.  Unpublished.

I guess that's the right Vid?

Is it just me, or does the SLDF picture just released look like General Kerensky is herding light mechs?

The front ranks appear to be full of Stingers and Locusts, but there are some heavier machines towards the back. Without knowing just how big the formation is, it's  hard to guess.

I'm looking forward to the trio of Hanseatic Crusade-related PDFs. Might it be an idea to one day consolidate all of the Hanseatic Crusade-related documents into a single print-on-demand volume? Although, so far as the writeup on the Schmidt's Petraries file goes, it should be noted that the opposing realm in question was only called the Scorpion Empire after the conquest.

Speaking of which, could the forthcoming BattleTech Universe book update the state of events in the Scorpion Empire through to 3150, or would that portion of the book only go so far as the endpoint of Operational Turning Points: Hanseatic Crusade?

Also, would BattleTech Universe look at any "corporate" factions of note? For example, I would very much like to see an update to 3150 for Interstellar Expeditions, along with a "further reading" note advising new readers to go check out ISP3.

While I'm not entirely keen on the name chosen for Empire Alone - it's a bit too close to "Empires Aflame" for my liking - I am curious to see what it is set to cover. Might there be room on its campaign map to update the state of play on the Tamarind/Marian/Canopian front, or would that side of things have to wait for a future volume? And if it did update that area also, might it be a good place to offer BattleForce/Alpha Strike-style force organization charts for the MHAF Cohorts and Legions involved?

And one other thing for now: is the BattleTech Universe cover art meant to represent a single battle in particular, or is a mash-up of units and factions from across different time periods?

That's addressed in the trio of products.

It's currently in fulfillment to backers, there's no way to plug your name into a website and see where you are in the queue though.

Part of the problem is that one of the containers has or is coming late.  If part of your order is in that container, you must wait.
