Visions of Rebirth now on Amazon kindle and PoD

So, are kickstarter backers going to get the pdf/epub?

We should be. Just no news whatsoever about that.

EDIT Wait, how and where we got the first part of the trilogy?
EDIT Ah, direct email link to download from CrowdOx. Wonder how long that link will live...

On my list for this week is trying to pin down an announce-able street date for that.

Last I checked, it was still on the water and our fulfillment center had not received it into stock yet. We may have a projected street date based on shipping transit times, etc., but I'm loathe to announce those. I'd rather wait until they have it on hand and we're just crossing I's and dotting T's. It may mean that we don't announce a street date until it's only a week away, but better that than to give you a date that could shift for any of a dozen reasons.

Is it safe to say we won't be able to order this Friday?

If as of right now it's still on a boat, I'd say that's a pretty good bet.

Is this where someone posts the "your shipment is here" meme with a bay full of tanker ships?

Juuuust in case you are doing any sort of market research.   A real pre-order would be FANTASTIC, I would much rather purchase something when I am aware of it, and have spare cash handy.   I have no problem waiting months for physical product to show, especially if I get the PDF on street day....

I just want the PDF.  I'm sure the physical books are beautiful to hold, but I require the convenience of electronic products.  Maybe one day when I'm not living the transient life.

We're well aware of the desire for pre-orders, and for PDFs prior to physical product release. My understanding is that there are technological issues related to fulfillment that affect both, and I'm in a position to personally fix neither.

The smaller releases are there to feed us something when the Main Course is not ready to be served.

Sounds like maybe Rocky next week, and maybe Hellion Keshik the week after.

I could be all wrong, though.  I would like to be wrong on this, actually.

Has anybody noticed that BLP has released a short review of Tamar Rising on his WordPress? I'm hoping this means the sourcebook is close to release.

His review also notes he picked up a copy at Gencon.

I know. It's a long shot, but I was hoping that if one of the inside guys were to give a review, they would do it a week or two in advance of the release. For all I know, Tamar Rising could be a December release.

Speculation based on that is pointless, Cubby has specifically stated on multiple times that the goal is to avoid the surprise release dates that previously plagued BattleTech.  As soon as he knows when it's coming out, you'll know.

Kansas City players, or people who are just passing through the area, come join us at the Geekery just off Shawnee Mission Parkway for BattleTech!  Current days are Tuesdays in the afternoon and evening.  I can't make every single week, but odds are pretty good that somebody will be there.
