He's also stated that as of yesterday it's still on a boat.

Just a reminder of what the port of LA looks like:

If we see it by Christmas I'll be happy.

If anyone is to be blamed for the delay in Hellion Keshik, it is I.

Jolly good!
Shall I prepare the tar and feathers?

…or perhaps just patiently wait another week or two.

In addition, I was seeing reports that even when ships were offloaded, there were huge stacks of containers waiting to be truck'd or train'd off to their next destination. Although some ships have diverted to places like Florida, Texas, Louisiana, etc to get off loaded & on containers on the way sooner.

CUBBY - Do we know if TAMAR is printed in CHINA or CANADA? Ilclan was Printed Canada, and if CGL used the same print house I cannot fathom why it would be on a boat  :o

Ah...wonder why sometimes CGL prints through Canada vs China...with Shipping etc the way it is now, Canada would seem the safer bet.

I would guess it is a combination of order size, available capacity, cost of printing of the ordered amount, etc etc.
Could be that when Tamar was sent to printers, Canadian printers had too long queues or prices had jumped from ilClan.

Most likely all of the above. Can't blame CGL for trying to keep cost low while inflation is in the headlines on a almost daily basis.

Speculation based on that is pointless, Cubby has specifically stated on multiple times that the goal is to avoid the surprise release dates that previously plagued BattleTech.  As soon as he knows when it's coming out, you'll know.
Doesn't look like things are working out that way, simply that the release date is going to be surprise to everyone, including those at CGL  ;D

He's also stated that as of yesterday it's still on a boat.

*eyes art* So does that mean the Dark Age Nova Cat emblem and color scheme is now canon? :D

I interpreted that symbol to be the one the Nova Cats within the Republic of the Sphere used. Not sure about in context of this novel though... which i've forgotten. I think i should re-read the Kurita/Nova Cat/Spirit Cat novels from MWDA lineup.

I do wonder about the color scheme. Some MWDA color schemes were canonized (eg Spirit Cats, Stormhammers, Swordsworn, the Republic scheme was used for the Republic Standing Guard) others were skipped because they contradicted existing information and/or were just generic representations of a faction.
The Nova Cats historically stuck with camos. Perhaps the Mystics used white with gold?

That reminds me of the "Holy Floating Head" jokes that cropped up around the time of Animeigo's release of SDF Macross  ;D

(For those who may not get the joke, when the box set was just about to be released, Animeigo released a joke photo where Robert Woodhead and a couple of other staffers held up a copy of the set in mock supplication, with the superimposed disembodied head of Shoji Kawamori looking on in approval wreathed in heavenly glory.)

I got to meet Kawamori once at Anime Expo.  He'd probably have approved of that photo.

Will a textless version of the art be made available?  It makes the Wendy look darn good.

I know digital picture frames are dead, but I can't help think that a digital poster frame could be a good thing, with high res imagery. I've run out of wall space in my mancave - need shelving for books & minis, and only have the Mad Dog engineering blueprint up because it's on the back of the door ...

I have good news and bad news on that front. Good news: the frame you desire exists! Bad news: it's hhhhexpeeensive! Expect to pay $400+

I'm sure there's a decent-sized television that advertised having the option of doing an image screen-saver when off rather than just being black, so that it looks like a picture on your wall when you aren't watching tv.
