If it's from the Grand Stampede at Black Death Pass, that's probably the impact mark from the armored Elemental during the rollover.

Was that the one with the unarmored Elementals riding Buraq battle armor, using neural whips like lassos?

When we last left off, the Hell's Horses had about 40clusters and the Commonwealth had a out 33 mech regiments, 70 armor regiments and just as many infantry regiments?

The ill-fated "mega-fauna" derby.

For pronunciation fans that like to torture your game group by calling them the Eh-rid-Nye light horse, here is your Hebrew pronunciation of Tamar

I blame MechWarrior II for all my bad pronunciation habits (gauss rhyming with house, Tay-Mar)

I like to imagine that Titanfall 'Mechs are similar to ProtoMechs.

Been wondering that myself.  Should be a good one!

To be fair, the last year or so had a flood of new product unlike anything I believe the line has ever seen before.  A late release is still a lot better than no releases.

Agreed that the last year has been the best year of BattleTech since I joined the hobby sometime in 1987.

Thanks for all your efforts, BattleTech team.  They haven't gone unnoticed!

I wouldn't blame TPTB for delaying Shrapnel a few days or a week.

There has deffinately been a slip lately Not just the delayed products but also stuff that has been released has not been done so properly. Blood Avatar and the latest ELH short are still not up on amazons kindle store two weeks after release.

Hopfully it is just a case of they set themselves too ambitious a release schedule and not a sign of some larger issue.

There is no larger issue, I want to say that loud and clear. Nor is it a problem with our ambitions.

There's a known issue with Amazon, John is working on it, I have no further information.

Two Rec Guides have been delayed for two entirely different and unrelated reasons: one because we released or restocked more than five DOZEN other products that same day, the other because of a production hiccup. The delays to both were one week each.

Things happen. The fact that these sorts of bumps are seen now as problems or evidence of problems is weirdly heartening.

We know most already know, but we proudly present a new Eridani Light Horse short story, The Day when Heaven was Falling, part 9 of the Eridani Light Horse series by Jason Schmetzer. We also released another of our reprints of the Dark Age novels, Blood Avatar by Ilsa J. Blick.

The Day When Heaven Was Falling: https://books2read.com/BattleTechELH9TheDayWhenHeavenWasFalling
Blood Avatar: https://books2read.com/BattleTechLegendsBloodAvatar

PLEASE NOTE: Neither of these are available on Amazon at this time, we have submitted them but they have not been approved yet. As soon as they are, Blood Avatar will be available as Print on Demand and both will be available digitally through them. They are available from the other links above.

BattleTech: The Day When Heaven Was Falling
Eridani Light Horse Chronicles, Part Nine
By Jason Schmetzer

TRADITIONS RUN DEEP…
Other mercenary units fly flags at two flagpoles at their headquarters, one with their unit’s flag, and other bearing the flag of their current employer. However, the Third Regimental Combat Team—a.k.a. the Eridani Light Horse—leaves one flagpole bare, as a reminder of the death of the Star League, and the other pole flies the Light Horse’s unit and regimental flags at half-mast.
What triumphs and tragedies shaped the Eridani Light Horse and its traditions? What drove them to become a force to be reckoned with, an elite mercenary unit with one of the longest histories and the deepest traditions in the Inner Sphere? Witness the unit’s origins in the Star League and follow their evolution all the way through the Succession Wars and the Clan Invasion to their downfall in the Dark Age and their resurrection in the uncertain future of the ilClan era.
Part Nine: The Day When Heaven Was Falling by Jason Schmetzer: During the Dark Age, an invasion force from Clan Jade Falcon arrives at Hesperus II intent on conquest. The Eridani Light Horse must help the Lyran defenders hold the line…but at what cost?

BattleTech Legends: Blood Avatar

By Ilsa J. Bick

BODY OF SECRETS...

The first body that turns up in Farway, a secluded town on the planet Denebola, is from out of town. When the Denebola Bureau of Investigation and the legate's office from the other side of the planet decide to help identify the murder victim, Sheriff Hank Ketchum knows he’s in over his head.

Enter infamous police detective Jack Ramsey, on leave after his most recent case, an encounter with a notorious serial killer who kidnapped Jack’s son. With the help of the talented local medical examiner, Amanda Slade, Ramsey digs into the case and discovers evidence that puts Farway at the heart of a conspiracy that reaches far beyond the sleepy backwater town. But who's the greater threat—the Clans, the Word of Blake, or the legate’s own intelligence operative?

As the investigation deepens and the pool of suspects continued to widen, Ramsey and Ketchum race against time to catch a twisted villain who always seems one step ahead of them…and if not stopped, could destroy everything they hold dear…

Cover looks like it's a miniature which is different.  Though I have to say I won't expect the Blue Star Irregulars having salvaged a Exterminator.  However, there was limited batch run of them with no stealth in TRO: 3025.  So who knows.  I'm definitely getting this book when I get out of work.
