There are four Essex destroyers and four Invader jumpships in the picture.  Six more types to go

There's definitely one Sovetskii Soyuz near the middle of the picture. 

I'm guessing you're thinking the ship to the right of the SovSoy is a York...  It's really a Texas battleship!  I just realized how similar they look, but the rear section sets a Texas apart from a York.

I'm uncertain about scaling of the dropships, I keep thinking they should be tad smaller.   (shrugs)  I like seeing them! (secretly...wanting them make mini-game we can play warships...god please please please.)

Center ship is a Texas based on the rear profile. The ship in the background next to it on the right is a Lola III destroyer.

And I think you found a 9th ship type that I realized I misidentified as a Lola III.  Right under the SovSoy's nose there's a ship with a round nose and fins.  That looks like a Liberator cruiser!

The one under the Soyuz's nose is something else, but a Liberator is in that shot and there is a pretty clear view of it. 

Surprised no one is guessing the regular ol' jumpship types to thin the herd.

Normally on Steam, you'd go to the game's page and select "preorder."  That option isn't available, merely Watch and Wishlist.  Same goes for the Playstation store.

Like Mercs Deluxe each future DLC will expand/update the artbook/TRO and soundtrack. Also they announced first DLC is a skin pack for the MWO Clan Collection Invasion Special patterns at $9.99 USD... or if you buy Clans within first week of release you get it free.

That gameplay trailer is interesting... and worrying. Showing more in-cockpit action compared to most of the people who got preview copies as well but the AI looks to be no better than Mercs which well...

I plan just to buy the standard version of the game, I really don't think there's much to gain from the extras that I'm interested in personally. I'm just going to enjoy or hopefully will, I had to get a new graphics card because it died so hopefully they'll add to the potential playability of this on my old computer.

At least with the old deluxe physical editions you'd get a statue or t-shirt or something, but paying $30 extra - almost twice as much! - for a PDF you'll flip through once, a soundtrack you'll never listen to, and some in-game skins is ludicrous.

I'm buying the deluxe more to support Piranha's development of more MechWarrior goodness. The license from Microsoft expires next year and AFAIK it still hasn't been extended. Piranha needs at least a 5 year extension to, at the least, work on MWO2.

Agreed.  And with a digital-only game there's no need to preorder in the first place since there's not got to be a physical shortage on the game.

I got the deluxe edition of MW5 Mercs for sale on GOG awhile ago.  You're right about only looking at the extras once or twice.  IMO they were still worth it on sale.  It's called the Dropship Edition IIRC.

Anyone able to find a confirmed list of Mechs available in the game yet?

 Not necessarily variants or Configs but just overall. I’ve seen a couple Reddit thread's that have speculation and can of course assume the mechs in the trailer are solid… but nothing ‘confirmed’

Probably going to be at least the omnimechs in MWO manufactured before 3050.  The Shadow Cat, Arctic Cheetah, and Huntsman count.  That would mean possibly no Night Gyr.  I doubt the Turkina is going to happen unless PGI surprises us.  I'm betting we'll get the Bane since it's going to make its debut in MWO soon.
