I had this prior to combat

Crusader 13 Heat +1 W
Archer 5 Heat
Griffin 01 0 Heat +2 R
Griffin 02 2 Heat +2 R

I had this after combat

Crusader 13 Heat +1 W = 14 -10 HS = 4 H
Archer 5 Heat +12 = 17 -10 = 7 H - 1 MP
Griffin 01 0 Heat +2 R + 14 = 16 - 12 = 4 H
Griffin 02 2 Heat +2 R + 14 = 18 - 12 = 6 H -1 MP

hmm, not sure.
as for the prior to combat, I was quoting the post from here.

Crusader - starting 5 + 2 run + 5 LRM + 5 LRM + 3 ML + 3 ML - 10 heatsink = 13 remaining (-2 MP, +2 ToHit)
Archer - starting 5 + 6 LRM + 6 LRM - 10 heatsink = 7 remaining (-1 MP)
Griffin #1 - starting 0 + 10 PPC + 4 LRM - 12 heatsinks = 2 remaining
Griffin #2 - starting 2 + 5 Jump + 4 LRM - 12 heatsinks = 0 remaining
Wasp - starting 0 + 6 Jump +3 ML - 20 heatsinks(under water)  = 0 remaining

archer had 7 not 5
and you have mixed griffin 1 and 2

for the post combat,
griffin 2 was walking not running from here

You were right the Griffon were mixed

This is the end of Turn 04

Crusader - starting 5 + 2 run + 5 LRM + 5 LRM + 3 ML + 3 ML - 10 heatsink = 13 remaining (-2 MP, +2 ToHit)
Archer - starting 5 + 6 LRM + 6 LRM - 10 heatsink = 7 remaining (-1 MP)
Griffin #1 - starting 0 + 10 PPC + 4 LRM - 12 heatsinks = 2 remaining
Griffin #2 - starting 2 + 5 Jump + 4 LRM - 12 heatsinks = 0 remaining
Wasp - starting 0 + 6 Jump +3 ML - 20 heatsinks(under water)  = 0 remaining

Turn 05

Crusader Walked in order to go prone and fire no weapons
13 + 1 - 10 HS = 4
Archer did not move, but fired twin LRM20s
7 + 12 = 19 - 10 = 9
Griffin 01 ran and fired PPC + LRM10
2 +2 +14 = 18 -12 = 6
Griffin 02 walked and fired PPC + LRM10
0 +1 +14 = 15 -12 = 3
Wasp no worries

which is exactly as I posted after your correction about crusader (I've also updated wasp, since getting up is also generating heat, but it doesn't matter) :)

scored a hit with SRM-2 and both missiles hit.
I recall, that in case of srms they do 2 points of damge per missile, and that each of them has a separate hit location, but I'm not sure of the later. I'll roll single hit location for the two missiles, but if you're online let me know if I should roll another

You are correct. Each missile has a separate hit location.

I found out that clusters for SRMs go in packages of 2 - at least that how it does look like in the weapons table - note they are marked as 2/Msl, C2 weapons, while LRMs are marked with 1/Msl, C5

got some good rolls finally

The SRM2 had two missiles so two hit locations.

My interest is .... sigh ....

Rifleman is almost critical
Griffin's PPC malfunctioned
Griffin is unconscious
Warhammer is now venting waste heat
I lose initiative ... again (1 vs 6)

what can I say?

My crusader is critical, and he is fielding most of my firepower (even though he can't really use it because of 10 heatsinks)

My archer is running out of ammo and we'll be 70 tons of two medium lasers real soon (how many time you can miss a 6+ roll? most of the times it seems)
There were rounds I've scored 3 damage despite using all my arsenal at good chances and having my entire force overheat.
I've failed an easy depth1 psr roll, which could have possibly ended with my wasp being trashed at close quarters .

that game has a lot of dice luck within it, and we love it for that. It is also completely different game, when you actually have the time to think on your next move for longer than a minute.

you made few mistakes - that happens. Moving that rifleman out of cover was one, separating that griffin is another.
I've had my own share of mistakes - mainly leaving that crusader in the open for two rounds of easy shooting and risking wasp while you have your two stingers safe.

That one point of gunnery diffference is HUGE. I almost cannot enter into position of having better tohit chances than any of my targets, which forces me to waste ammo, or stand as a sitting duck..

I'm not saying you can win - I'll do my best not to let you, and that surprise headshot (first in over 20 landed hits) is going to take me a long way to decisive victory, but it is far from over yet

I'll keep going. I'm just losing interest in these campaigns units. Your archer is a tick I can't remove. The Rifleman I have to move in order to do anything along with the Warhammer. The stingers are a bit too fragile to use yet.

I'm pretty sure, the srms go in clusters of two, but I've seen you marked only 2 head damage, which means you think my original feeling is accurate (I think it really was that way 15 years ago), so I rolled another location spot - hit CTR for 2 points of damage.

I've also noted, you marked 1 point of damage to LA of rifleman instead of warhammer.

aaand, it's your move, though I think it's gonn abe: griffin don't move

I'm going to post all of my shooting at once - kind of tired with the second phase of the turn sequence - it does not bring me anythign of the strategic value, if it does to you, you can benefit from it.

but before that - question on the push attack

I think it is Piloting 5 + 1 Attacker walked -1 Push -4 immobile target -> that makes it 1 -> that makes it automatic success -> pushing mech out of the map, takes it out of combat

correct?

The roll would be a 3+ to succeed. Rolling a 2 will automatically fail, physical attack or weapon attack.

Cannot use arm mounted weapons.

One thing, I'm not sure if the Left arm mounted weapon of that rifleman can reach griffin - I think it is just outside of the line of the central firing arc after twist

Your Crusader's SRM6 are in the legs and the ML is in the torso both which can only fire in the front arc.

Only the MG arm mounted weapon (also LRM15) can fire at the Stinger which is in the right side arc.

Rifleman's can't shoot at all. Keeps the torso twist.
