Bosefius, is the quality of the POD book high enough? I mean is it comparable to the other perfect bound books we've received from CGL? (I'm willing to try POD but if the pages fall out three days after I get it because of crappy glue I'm going to be annoyed.)
My POD copy of
Forever Faithful is indistinguishable, quality-wise, from previous CGL books - to the point where I suspect the other books (
Betrayal of Ideals GenCon edition,
The Nellus Academy Incident,
The Anvil/A Splinter of Hope, BattleCorps anthologies) were produced through a similar process even if they weren't POD.
That said, my
Forever Faithful copy has an Amazon imprint indicating a German production facility. I know next to nothing about POD logistics, but I strongly suspect there's a number of production sites scattered all over the globe. And the quality of the end product will likely depend on the specific site that produced it. (Though Amazon will strive to make all output as equal as possible, quality-wise.)
Looking forward to holding
House Arano in my hands, and am excited and curious about how it will turn out.
